The conventional automatic and network-based manufacturing mode is not suitable for the changeable shop floor environment. The new type of advanced manufacture needs the system integration for shop floor. An innovative CNC system based on mobile device（Palm CNC）was presented. The network based on Palm CNC included five layers. The new CNC system was divided into two parts. One was an embedded machine (robots, AGV, etc.) controller, which was a web server; another was a mobile controller, which acted as a client. Both parts were communicated via bluetooth wireless technology. CNC network architecture and software were emphasized; relation and process of CNC and manufacturing environment were illustrated. The key implement technologies were investigated and tested, including Microsoft .NET based software developing, especially the programming based on Web services technology could realize cooperative manufacturing, system integration, real time control of Windows CE, .NET-based CNC system，bluetooth communication technology, and etc.
