A double knife section reciprocating cutter was applied in a whole-feeding rice-wheat combine by setting a standing grain leading device and a stacked drive mechanism. The various parameters calculation equations of double knife section reciprocating cutter and drive mechanism ware established. The numerical analysis of cutting diagram was carried out with Matlab and the contrast determination of amplitude-frequency between single and double knife section reciprocating cutter was obtained. The results show that the stacked drive mechanism can shorten its own protractile width and not affect first travel operations of the whole feeding combine. The standing grain leading device can solve the grain leading and horizontal supports of the cutter without blade protection. The absolute velocity of double knife section reciprocating cutter is the twice of that of the single knife. The average cutting velocity is 1.58m/s. The double knife section reciprocating cutter can improve the efficiency of the harvesting operations and lower the trouble due to vibration.
